This museum shows the past of the city of Zagreb, from prehistoric times whose ruins were recently discovered under the building of the museum itself. The museum presents an overview of the city from various aspects of political, social, economic, business, church, engineering, architectural and daily life at that time, and this is supported by original documents from that time. It includes a lot of empty bottles, furniture, figurines, a model of the city, clothes and more.
