Information about Yalova Atatürk Mansion
Yalova Ataturk's Mansion is a palace built and used by Mustafa Kemal Ataturk during his visits to the thermal springs at Yalova in the Marmara region of Turkey. Currently the building is owned by the Turkish Grand National Assembly and is partially open to the public as a museum. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk visited Yalova for the first time in 1927. He went there in the summer months to visit the local thermal springs. During his visit, he stayed in a wooden pavilion on the Baltaci farm, which is located near the thermal bath built by Sultan Abdul Hamid II in the nineteenth century; He then commissioned Ataturk to build his palace on the Milliyet farm.
