Besowice Castle is a historical fortress dating back to the 14th century AD, and it is one of the most famous landmarks in Gdansk. This castle is considered one of the most prominent examples of military architecture in Poland, as it was restored by prominent architects and engineers throughout the period between the fifteenth and nineteenth centuries. The castle consists of a circular fortress that served as the main defensive point for Poland for centuries, in addition to a lighthouse and a circular tower that provides a breathtaking panoramic view.
