The Wells Fargo Museum is located in Uptown Charlotte, adjacent to the Levine Center for the Arts, and highlights the history of Wells Fargo, including the history of gold mining in North Carolina, and the rare Concorde Chamber, built in the mid-1800s, where a replica is available. Climb up, get up close and personal with rare coins, and interactive exhibits, including a reconstructed underground mine tunnel, and a simulated 1960s money changer. The museum shop also features a variety of gifts, collectibles, and clothing, and guided tours are also available, with advance reservations, and admission is always free.
