Wat Phan Tao was built in the fourteenth century AD using teak wood, and is considered a memorial to the teak trade in Thailand. Featuring an intricate design, gilded accents, and colorful mosaics, this temple is located in a monastery decorated with orange flags and close to Chedi Luang Temple. It is also unique to the prayer hall supported by 28 huge columns that enshrine the graceful golden Buddha image in particular. In addition, it hosts a range of religious ceremonies.
