One of the most important Austrian writers is Karl Heinrich Waggerl, whose poetic work is closely connected with the history of Austria. From the beginning of his life until his death in 1973, he lived in the "House of Wagirl", which was mentioned for the first time in 1776, and there he created his literary works. In order to preserve this value, the city government has converted this house into a literary museum, which tells the history and life story of the writer.
