Vratsa is the symbol of Vratsa and was declared a natural site in 1964. It is a magnificent mountain pass overlooking the Leva River and includes beautiful and impressive rocky phenomena and covers an area of 2 hectares. The vertical slopes in this area are the highest in the Balkan Peninsula, With a height of more than 400 meters, it is the most famous mountainside in Bulgaria. The pass also includes the ruins of the medieval castle of Fratesta, preserved to this day.
