The emotive memorial commemorates the men and women who served in one of America's most controversial wars, the Vietnam War. This monument was made of metal, and the statue depicts the image of a Vietnamese soldier who was wounded in the war, his wife trying to help him, and his son looking at the sky, and the son who looks at the sky represents the idea that he sees his father in heaven. Next to the monument is a stone plaque with the names of all the Vietnamese soldiers who died enlisting in the US Army.
