The history of the Museum of the Turkish Aviation Association dates back to 2002, when the city government decided to establish an information space that includes all valuable information about the history of aviation in Turkey. The museum campus consists of 287 square meters of indoor space and 5,000 square meters of open space. The museum explains the development of aviation history in the world and in Turkey in particular in dedicated halls that contain many documents and photographs that enrich the cultural content. The museum also displays the uniforms, medals and insignia used by the Turkish Aviation Association. Finally, after completing this unique tour, visitors are provided with the opportunity to inspect the helicopter pilot's cabin, which is displayed in the museum's garden, and experience jumping from the historic tower under the supervision of parachute instructors.
