The Red Saraya or the Red Citadel of Tripoli is considered one of the most important landmarks of the city of Tripoli in Libya. It was named by that name because some of its parts were painted red. The castle is located in the northeastern corner of the old city of Tripoli and overlooks Omar Al-Mukhtar and Al-Fath Streets, the port of Tripoli and the Red Castle Lake. Or the large baths, where some huge marble columns and capitals dating back to the first or second century AD were found down the road.
