The Clock Tower is one of Tripoli's famous landmarks, located in the heart of its old town. This tower, which is 18 meters high, has a distinct Turkish and Ottoman architectural character. It was built at the request of the governor, Reza Pasha; This tower also overlooks the town's popular market and the Red Saraya, in addition to having marble columns, a large bell, and a clock that was ringing at the head of every hour, but it was broken after the damage to the tower during World War II.
