Asfar Lake is a lake located in the city of Al-Omran, east of Al-Ahsa region, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It is the largest water body in the Gulf region and is the only one of its kind in Saudi Arabia. The lake was formed by heavy rain water to produce a wonderful view of water in the middle of the desert, which brings to it many nature lovers from inside and outside Saudi Arabia. The length of the lake is about 25 km, and desert plants and weeds grow around it to increase its beauty and the beauty of its scenery. The lake was previously called Hajar Lake, and this lake is a destination for lovers of exotic nature, and for lovers of relaxation in its arms, as it combines water, desert and greenery.
