The Dryhaus Museum is a specialty museum displaying the splendor of late 19th century art, architecture and design. The collections of permanent and temporary exhibitions are presented in an immersive experience inside the picturesque Nickerson Mansion, which was restored in 1883, while preserving its exquisite design and architecture. These exhibits include vibrant educational and cultural programs, presenting the context of the American Gilded Age in the nineteenth century, and include exhibits on the history, culture, and urban fabric of Chicago.
