Information about The National Military Circle
Designed by the Romanian architects D. Maimarolu, V. Stefanescu and E. Doneaud, the National Military Service Building was built in 1912 in the French neoclassical style and used to host the social, cultural and educational needs of the military Roman, but now it is the place where important events, such as art exhibitions and book launches, take place. The National Military Circle contains many reception halls, meeting rooms, a theater, library and art galleries. The Marble Hall is known to be one of the most successful achievements of Roman architecture. Its ancient-style decorative elements take you back to the past. The building houses an astonishing array of swords, daggers, shields, spears, helmets and arrows. Which creates a real military environment.
