Information about The Ibrahimi Masjed
One of the distinctive archaeological sites in the city of Hebron and in all of Palestine, as it is the fourth holy place for Muslims, and the main reason for this is that it was built over a cave in which the Prophet Abraham, his wife Sarah, their son Isaac and Jacob and their wives are buried. The mosque is located in the old city of Hebron in the south of the West Bank. Its construction is similar to the Al-Aqsa Mosque, and it is surrounded by a large and huge wall with a length of 7 meters. It is worth noting that visiting this mosque is not an easy thing, given that it is located in a heavily guarded military area .
