Tvero is located in the northern part of the islands surrounding the main land of Bora Bora. It has an area of 2,363 square kilometers. It is a small island sandwiched between Bora Bora Lake and the Pacific Ocean. It includes one resort called "Bora Bora Pearl Beach" and is characterized by Polynesian architecture and features distinctive wooden chalets. Directly overlooking the turquoise waters of Bora Bora lake, the island also offers a stunning view of the volcanic Mt. Oetmanu.
