The Talipakh Gate was the site of the tax collection and one of the main fortifications in the city of Bukhara. The only remaining 11 gates were around the city. These gates were built in the sixteenth century during the reign of Abdullah Khan I. With the expansion of the city through the ages, Talipach Gate is located in the heart of Bukhara, surrounded by residential and historical buildings.
