Information about Tainan Judicial Museum
The Tainan Judicial Museum is one of the three classical buildings constructed during the Japanese colonial era, and is considered as one of the oldest architecture buildings and the first of its kind in the city. By the Ministry of Interior in 1991. It was originally the Old Tainan Provincial Court, established by the Governor-General of Taiwan after the introduction of the Western judicial system during the Japanese colonial period. Today, the Tainan Judicial Museum has become a new cultural landmark in southern Taiwan, and in addition to preserving memories and history of Taiwan's judicial development, it also serves to enhance judicial education and help the public learn more about the system.
