The Swiss National Museum is a wonderful museum located in a historical building dating back to the nineteenth century AD, and the museum displays pieces through which you can see the history of Switzerland from its inception to the present time. There are also pieces that are constantly in the permanent exhibitions, but the museum also holds temporary exhibitions throughout the year so that museum-goers do not get bored. Among the permanent exhibits, you will find a three-dimensional map of ancient Switzerland, many costumes worn by Swiss nobles through the ages, some ancient weapons such as swords and cannons, and much more.
