The Khazneh of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Hall is considered the “museum of knowledge” in Bandar Seri Begawan. It focuses on the intellectual leadership of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di Bertuan, and aims to protect, empower and preserve the treasures of Brunei’s Islamic heritage. It was established in May 2015 and completed In January 2018, at a cost of about one hundred and ten million dollars, which is an expression of His Majesty's aspiration and determination to preserve and revive the greatness of the treasures and Islamic heritage.
