Sultan Alaeddin Mosque is one of the works of the Seljuk period, and it is among the valuable works in which you will be able to see up close the Seljuk architecture with its simple and calm atmosphere. This place also has the distinction of being the first that the Seljuk Turks built in Ankara. According to the pulpit inscription, the Sultan Alaeddin Mosque today dates back to 1178 AD. However, several renovations carried out over the years, especially in the 14th and 15th centuries, have also affected the historical structure of this simple-looking mosque.
