In the past, Suleiman Pasha School played a pivotal role in the social, religious, cultural and educational life in the town of Iznik. It consisted of eleven rooms that were used as classrooms for school-goers, in the middle of which is a square yard decorated with different types of green plants and roses. Tourists find great pleasure when visiting the school and contemplate its unique architectural design in the form of a horseshoe, where they take souvenir photos and tour its courtyard.
