In an area of 22 hectares, one of the largest and oldest parks in Romania was established, by a decision of the municipality in November 1856. The following year, the lining of the main alleys began, along the former canal of the swimming school and at the same time, a perimeter was planted with different types of trees : pine, lime, and others, and in 1859 the dam was built, one year after the bridge and in the immediate vicinity, a restaurant and a rest area were built, and now this garden is considered one of the most beautiful and quiet, many people go to for relaxation and recreation.
