The Stavanger Museum is a natural and cultural history museum founded in 1877, located in the heart of the city, which has earned it a reputation among locals and tourists alike. The museum is divided into two parts, including a zoology section, in which visitors will find stuffed animals, fossils and some of the largest insects in the world, and another section presenting the cultural and human history of the inhabitants of Norway. Among the exhibits of this section, visitors will find clothes, historical living rooms, hunting tools, food utensils, and much more.
