The Norwegian word Folken means people, and this theater was called the People's Theater because it is a theater dedicated to displaying the artistic, creative and sports talents of the inhabitants of the city of Stavanger, as it is not a requirement to be famous to perform in this wonderful theater. Performances are held in the theater almost daily, and there are hundreds of seats in the theater where you can relax and watch wonderful performances. The theater is located in an old building from the nineteenth century, and the historical depth lends a distinctive splendor to the theater.
