There are a lot of legends going around about St. Mary's Cathedral for the old town market. This historical landmark, which came in the Gothic style, has a legend about how it was built. According to the legend, this difference in height is the result of a quarrel between two brother engineers who commissioned each of them to build a tower. One of the engineers killed his brother, fearing that the height of the latter’s tower would exceed his own, and then killed himself because of his feeling guilty. The first tower was built at a height of 69 meters to house the church bells, while the tallest tower was for observation and monitoring.
