St. John's Cathedral is the main church of the Church of Cyprus, located in Nicosia. The church was built in the fourteenth century on the site of the monastery of St. John the Theologian. The church was characterized by a contemporary and distinctive design, and perhaps one of the most popular things for the church is the wood carvings that were carved by hand by local artists, and these inscriptions today are among the oldest inscriptions in the city.
