The Nicosia Municipal Art Center is housed in one of the country's oldest and recently renovated historic buildings, located in the historic center of Nicosia, and is the oldest and largest contemporary art center on the island. The Center has organized more than eighty exhibitions of modern and contemporary art with the participation of famous artists from Cyprus and abroad, and many of these exhibitions have been organized in cooperation with museums, art centers and cultural institutions in Europe and other countries. Today, the museum is one of the most important tourist attractions in the country.
