This church and the cathedral of "Saints Cyril and Methodius" is one of the most famous and most attractive monuments in Burgas, as well as one of the most beautiful Orthodox churches in the country. This church is located in the center of the city and was named after the two brothers who invented the Slavic alphabet, knowing that they were missionaries of Christianity among the Slavic peoples. This wonderful church was built in 1897 - 1907 according to the design of the Italian architect Riccardo Toscani.
