St. Catherine's Cathedral dates back to the beginning of the fourteenth century AD, and is considered the oldest church in the Polish city of Gdansk. This cathedral was a Protestant church, but it was converted again after World War II into a Catholic church; It features the world's first Pulsar clock, an exquisite Baroque tower and unparalleled panoramic views, with a height of 76 metres. In 2006, the church was exposed to a fire that destroyed the ceiling, but it still retains its amazing architectural splendor.
