Athanasievsky Monastery in Brest is included in the list of historical and cultural values of Belarus of the 19th and 20th centuries. The temple was erected in honor of the martyred monk Athanasius, who died in defense of his land. It is an architectural monument of wooden folk architecture with elements of Russian retro style. Tourists come here annually to commemorate the martyrdom of this hero, and to hold prayers and religious rites.
