The Servais Peninsula is located at the southern tip of the island of Saaremaa and is followed by a number of small islands that form part of the Irbe Strait. According to legend, these islands were created by Toell the Great, who threw a bunch of stones behind him as he chased the evil Vanabagan out of the country. The heavy stones fell into islands, and the light ones flew away. A restaurant and visitor center are open in this area in the summer, and it's an ideal place for bird watching.
