Established on the site of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the park is today famous for its Light Music Fountain, the statue of Marshal of the Soviet Union (Zhukov), a monument to St. George bearing the phrase "They are proud of the Kuban", which reflects the history of Krasnodar and the Church of St. Alexander Nevsky. In the park often held exhibitions of folk art, as well as other mass cultural events, on the territory of this green area there is a small playground, and in the shade of trees there are many benches.
