An air museum that narrates the historical development of the Royal Saudi Air Force since its inception at the hands of King Abdul Aziz to what it has reached in this era. In the first phase, the museum consists of a main covered exhibition hall containing real aircraft that entered service in the Saudi Air Force and small models of some aircraft, in addition to four display booths and a special corner for the history of the Air Force. There are also some petrines that contain military decorations and badges. The Royal Saudi Museum in the Air Force or Saqr Al-Jazirah is located on the eastern ring road to the city of Riyadh between exits 10 and 11. A Lockheed L-1011 Tri-Star aircraft bearing the logo of Saudi Airlines is visible from the ring road. The goal of establishing the museum is to preserve the historical legacy of the Air Force, which tells the story of the continuous success for more than 80 years. The museum was established in the east of Riyadh Air Base, specifically on the (Eastern Ring Road) Airport Road, in order to be a tourist attraction for visitors to the city of Riyadh. The museum is considered a shining front for the armed forces in general and the Air Force in particular.
