The Temple of Santa Quitéria was built on the site of the burial site of the martyr Santa Quitéria, which is a small church dating back to the nineteenth century, and its altar is an outstanding example of gold inscriptions since the end of the seventeenth century, and the monument “Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception” was inaugurated The memorial on the temple grounds in 1906, designed by painter Abel Cardoso and by artist and sculptor José Coelho Vidal.
