Information about Galovac Island
Galovac, or as some call it San Paolo, is an inhabited island located in the Croatian part of the Adriatic Sea. Its history states that Simon Milinović, a wealthy man from Zadar, built a monastery on this island for "Croatian monks" in 1443 AD. The island is characterized by a picturesque natural composition, as it combines the blue and sweetness of the water with calm clear waves, and the greenness of trees and coniferous forests on it, with a beautiful view of Zadar and the large islands surrounding it.
