St. Michael's fortress and fortress dates back to the 13th century on the island of Uglian in Zadar. It is located at the highest point of the island, rising about 265 meters above sea level, which enables you to easily see it from any part of the city. Although the fort is today in a ruined state due to wars and invasions, little remains of it, but the fortress surrounding it has survived to this day. You will read in the ruins of the fortress an entire history, and you will witness wars, victories and the bravery of fighters, and you will also witness traces of suffering and aches that will remain engraved in these walls forever.
