The San Diego Air and Space Museum is a museum specializing in aviation and space sciences in San Diego. It was established in 1961 in Balboa Park. The museum is considered one of the largest museums specialized in aviation science in the United States of America, and contains the third largest collection of holdings and archives belonging to its library. Accordingly, the museum organizes many exhibitions documenting the city's contributions in the fields of aviation and space.
