The Sheikha Salma Al-Ma’ashani Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in the city of Taqah. It was built in 1983. It is characterized by an engineering design in the style of distinctive Islamic architecture. It consists of a minaret and a dome, surrounded by a group of picturesque palm trees, and includes a large and spacious prayer hall that can accommodate large numbers. Of the worshipers, in addition to a chapel for women with a separate entrance, it also includes a set of toilets and places designated for ablution.
