Saladin established his soldiers on this strategic island in order to control the trade of products coming from Asia and to demand ransom from pilgrims on their way to Mecca, a really strategic place. You will be amazed by the panoramic view of the citadel, a landscape that combines the coasts of Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
