Information about Saint Petri Kirche
It is the oldest and well-preserved extant church in Hamburg. Which is located in the heart of Hamburg, was founded at the beginning of the eleventh century. It is reported that the church survived World War II with relatively negligible damage. The bronze left door statue with a lion's head on the main gate (entrance to the tower) is the oldest work of art in Hamburg. Historians say that the inscription of the foundation stone of the tower dates back to the year 1342. And the second southern corridor to the year 1418.
