The Church of St. Ivan (St. John) is located within the old city of Budva. It was built in the 15th century on the ruins of a church dating back to the 7th century. Its structure is a three-storey basilica with Gothic details on the facade. The church bell was built in In 1867, on the south side of this church, the edifice of the Bishop's Castle was built. Inside the church, many valuable objects are preserved, such as the icon of the Virgin Mary with Christ, the painting of Sveti Petar and Bavli (St. Peter and Paul), a piece from a Venetian school, icons of Greek origin, and the painting of Sveti Luka (Saint Luke) by Anastas Pokaryk (Anastas Bocaric).
