The magnificent Rosendal Palace, a Swedish palace suite, is located in the center of Stockholm, Sweden. It was built between 1823 and 1827, for King Karl XIV Johan. This palace is a fine example of the Swedish Empire style. Its purpose was to escape the formalities of judicial life in the royal palace. The palace was designed by Fredrik Blom, one of the leading architects of the time. It also contains furniture, antiques, and fixtures that create an impressive overall effect.
