The Shrine of Our Lady of Trsat is the oldest Marian shrine in Croatia, and is visited daily by many Christian pilgrims from home and abroad. Known for many prayers and pilgrimages to many Christians throughout the year, especially on the Feast of the Assumption. Within the sanctuary are the Church of Our Lady of Tarsat, the Franciscan Monastery, the Treasury, the Chapel of the Covenant, Mary's Park and the parish center of Pope John Paul II.
