The Rio Minho Aquarium is located right next to the Minho River, and allows visitors to learn about the international water cycle that brings the region so many benefits. It contains several tanks with volumes up to 6000 liters, and its aquariums display a variety of animals and plants that can be found along the River Minho, starting from its source through the dam areas to the estuary, and species that can be seen are trout, salmon, lamprey, seabass, anemones and mussels.
