Revolution Square is not only one of the most important public squares in Bucharest, but also a landmark in local and national history, and therefore a place imbued with cultural and historical fragrant, surrounded by some of the most important architectural and cultural monuments in Bucharest, including the former Royal Palace (currently The National Museum of Art of Romania), the Romanian Athenaeum, Bucharest University Library and the Rebirth Monument, as well as the building of the former Central Committee of the Romanian Communist Party.
