One of the largest parks in Madrid, Spain. The park belonged to the Spanish royal family until the late nineteenth century when it was converted into a public park. Within it there are plenty of plant beds, greenery and a pond at its centre. One of the most important features of it is the Glass Palace, which is a metal structure covered with glass inside, which was built in 1887 on the occasion of the Flora exhibition.
