The National Museum of Decorative Arts is one of the most prominent museums in Madrid and one of the favorite attractions of many people. It is located in a distinctive building and consists of more than 60 rooms. It houses a collection of decorative works from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries AD, and includes luxurious antiques, ceramics, carpets and tapestries from all over Spain and other collectibles that shed light on how the privileged classes in Spain lived through the centuries.
