Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary is a wetland reserve in Dubai that extends over an area of 6.2 square kilometers, famous for attracting migratory birds in large numbers due to its salt flats and mud flats, where birds use them to build their nests. The most important of them are the flamingos, or what is known as the flamingo, which is stationed in the area in the winter days, and the reserve includes a number of crustaceans, mammals and fish, including gray herons, great birds, coral reefs, cormorants, black-winged stilts, sandbirds and more.
