Information about Radio and Democracy Museum
The Museum of Radio and Democracy opened its doors to visitors in 2013, with the participation of famous programmers and broadcasters, in a historic building in the city dating back to the early twentieth century. The museum's collection consists of about 150 radios and turntables, in addition to many interactive paintings and artifacts that are distributed in six rooms and a library. These collections are arranged chronologically according to important historical events. Film screenings on various topics are held here every month in the museum, which aims to bring the audience together by organizing interviews with important radio programmers.
